A home remedy of warm spiced milk with palm jaggery

Ingredients
For boiling
Spice mix blend

Instructions
Spice mix
  1. Collect all the ingredients for the spice mix.
  2. In a pan dry roast the fennel, the cumin,long pepper, the black cardamom and the dry ginger pieces
  3. Cool it slightly and pound them. Grind it into a smooth powder and add the nutmeg.
  4. Store this mix in an airtight container for use.
For the drink
  1. Bring the milk and water together into a boil and add 1/2 tsp of the spice mix.
  2. Let them boil in a simmer and infuse the aromatic spice into the milk
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the palm jaggery. Strain the milk if preffered.
  4. Serve warm and enjoy sips.
Recipe Notes

For vegan versions gently simmer the coconut milk and do not boil it.
