Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Wash and soak the red bean in plenty of water.
  2. After 2-3 hours drain the water and add two cups of water.
  3. Pressure cook this bean along with the water with a pinch of salt.
  4. Release the pressure when ready and mash the beans
  5. Once the beans are cooled add the cherries, the cooked beans with the cooking liquid and the crushed gula melaka to the blender
  6. Blend to a smooth paste
  7. Pour into ice moulds and freeze to set ( about 3-4 hours)
Recipe Notes

If you want a creamier version, add coconut milk while blending.

If using canned beans, directly blend them with the other ingredients.
