- 2 cups vatana dried peas cooked and drained
- 1/4 cups breadcrumbs
- salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Into the mixing bowl, add the cooked dried peas, garlic powder, salt and breadcrumbs.
Mash and mix them to form a firm yet moist dough.
Shape the dough into nuggets and place them on a flour-lined tray.
Cover and chill for half an hour.
Preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
Line the baking tray and place the nuggets on them.
Bake for 20 minutes or till the top shows small cracks.
Remove from the oven and cool on a rack.
Serve with salad or as a platter with dips.
