Dry peas nuggets

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups vatana dried peas cooked and drained
  • 1/4 cups breadcrumbs
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Into the mixing bowl, add the cooked dried peas, garlic powder, salt and breadcrumbs.
  • Mash and mix them to form a firm yet moist dough.

  • Shape the dough into nuggets and place them on a flour-lined tray.
  • Cover and chill for half an hour.
  • Preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
  • Line the baking tray and place the nuggets on them.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or till the top shows small cracks.
  • Remove from the oven and cool on a rack.
  • Serve with salad or as a platter with dips.
