Ingredients

Cabbage
red or green
For the tandoori marinade
1
cup
yogurt
2
tbsp
tandoori masala
1
tsp
garam masala
1
tsp
coriander powder
1/2
tsp
fennel powder
1/2
tsp
ginger powder
1/2
tsp
turmeric powder
salt to taste
2
tbsp
kasuri methi
For grilling
2-3
tbsp
cooking oil
any high heat neutral oil.
Instructions
Prepare and keep the grill heated up.
Into a mixing bowl add the ingredients for tandoori paste.
Mix well and set aside
Clean and slice one inch thick slices from the whole cabbage head.
Coat the cabbage slices on both sides with the tandoori paste
Brush the hot grill with oil
Place the cabbage steak on it.
Spray a bit of oil on the top.
Cover and let this steam for about 7 minutes.
Open and grill till the charred top appears.
Carefully remove ( can fall apart easily) onto a serving plate.
Slice and enjoy with green chutney.
