Ingredients
  

For the dough

  • 2 cup potato boiled and mashed
  • 1 tbsp oat flour
  • 1/4 tsp jeervan masala
  • salt to taste

for the stuffing

  • 1/4 cup grated coconut
  • 1 tsp almond flakes or cashew nuts
  • 1 tsp golden raisins
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves chopped
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1/4 tsp Lemon juice

for roasting

  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

for garnish and serving

Instructions
 

  • To make the dough, boil and peel the potatoes.
  • Mash the potatoes, oat flour, jeervan masala and a pinch of salt and mix well.

  • Knead this to form a soft dough and set aside
  • Mix the ingredients for stuffing and keep ready

  • Make small balls of the potato dough and make a small depression in the centre
  • Make a cup shape and fill a tsp or a bit more of the filling in this depression.
  • Seal the potato dough ball and flatten gently.
  • Prepare all the patties the same way and set aside
  • Brush oil on a flat pan and bring up to medium heat
  • place the prepared patties and roast them gently on both sides till golden
  • Serve hot with green chutney and a sprinkle of Jeervan masala

Notes

You can avoid the jeervan masala totally if you are not fond of it.
Vary the nuts and seeds as per your preference.
