Wash and clean the gai lan
Trim the stems and the leaves and set them ready.
Set the wok on high heat.
Add the sesame oil.
Add the garlic and ginger to roast in the oil.
Once the garlic starts getting golden, add the stalks of the broccoli.
In a small bowl add the ingredients for the sauce.
As the stalk sautes, add the leaves and mix well.
Pour the sauce over it. and mix well.
Saute this n high heat.
Remove from heat and sprinkle the sesame seeds.
The stirfry is now ready to serve.
