Panchamrit cake

  • measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients
  

Wet ingredients

  • 2 cups panchamrit Check notes blow i you are strting from scratch.
  • 1/4 cup jaggery
  • 1 medium Banana

Dry ingredients

  • 1.5 cups whole wheat flour self rising
  • 1/4 tsp green cardamom powder or crushed pods
  • 2-3 small basil leaves Indian basil preferably.

for greasing the pan

  • 1 tsp ghee / clarified butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven at 180 degres celcius.
  • Into the mixing bowl measure and add the leftover panchamrit.
  • Mash the banana into this mix.
  • Once the blend is ready, add the flour, cardamom and tulsi leaves.
  • Mix well till you have a smooth batter.
  • grease the bundt pan and pour the cake mix into it evenly.
  • Tap a couple of times gently.
  • Bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
  • Check with a skewer fo doneness.
  • Remove the cake from oven and set to cool.
  • When the cake is cool, invert and tap the cake out of the pan.
  • Slice and enjoy
