Rajgira kadhi

Farali rajgira kadhi ia a simple and delicious yogurt sauce that is gluten free and nut free.the vrat ki kadhi is used for religious fasting and is an onion, garlic yogurt sauce.

Equipment

  • mixing bowls and spoons.
  • saucepan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 cups drinking water
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp amaranth flour ( rajgira atta)
  • 1 tbsp peanuts crushed
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 small chillies yogurt cured.

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together the yogurt, amaranth flour and water.
  • Set the pan on medium heat and add the oil to heat up.
  • As the oil heats up, add the cumin seeds and cured chillies to crackle.
  • Add the yogurt mixture and keep stirring.
  • As the mixture bubble and thickens, add the crushed peanuts and coriander leaves.
  • Let this mix bubble and simmer.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle the salt.
  • Mix well and kadhi is ready to serve.
