Looking for a place for devilishly good coffee and desserts…..head straight to Frank and Laurent Coffee roasters at Udini next to Tesco Extra.
The recently opened Udini complex has a few F&B outlets….but this one grabbed our attention and it made the otherwise scrambled day perfect…..as I like coffee…my children desserts….
The place is sunlit with comfortable seating……. chic lampshades and lovely looking chairs
A large roaster invited you into the space…
Hold on…..then you begin….oogling at the desserts…….in the typical….glass counter….cheesecakes, chocolate…Oh…yummmi already feel the sugar rush…
We ordered and settled down…in one of the cubicles with high chairs…as my kids take a particular fancy to it.
The coffee and the blueberry cheesecake was the first to arrive followed
by the waffle after a little extra wait time…I noticed they lack counterspace and a bit of chaos behind the counter….I am sure they are getting there…..so just enjoy…
Well I wish post soft launch they remove the multitude of bags strewn on the floor…next to the roaster too
But then all these seem insignificant when you see the fresh berry waffle……it’s like a tower built up and topped with ice cream…instantly my younger one claimed..its all hers……it sure was devilishly good….as she offered to share upon realizing the portion.size was a bit too big for her.
The cheesecake was mild…creamy…..delicious
The coffee…was well done…it needs to be mentioned that they have a clear idea of good coffee….
The mint chocolate was quite strong for children….yummy for me though…..
Next time I go…I want to taste the homeblends…..and also the chocolate waffle…
The place is a great hang out….and worth the money….it’s not overtly expensive…yet gives you a fabulous feel….
