In this section we aim to bring you a bit more information about the ingredients that make up your food.
Food as we consume is a complex mix of nutrients and flavours that appeal not just to our nourishment also to our senses and brain, thereby controlling our emotions and memories. Having the power to know, identify and choose the right ingredients gives you an upper hand in your own wellness. We are not plnning to preach about the goodness of the ingredients rather just bring forth a collated bit of information.
We will attempt to take you through the following sections
- Grains / cereals
- Beans / legumes
- Nuts/ seeds
- Vegetables / fruits
- Spices / seasonings
- Fats / oils
- Flavour enhancers / additives
All these make up your food experience.
What we wont be adding?
Since we are vegetarians and don’t really handle meat and fish, it will not be appropriate for us to guide you through meat and fish related topics. So we leave it to the experts who can tackle this better.
How to use this section?
We are planning to upload posts from time to time. This means we will slowly accumulate a wealth of knowledge here. Hopefully, you will stay on for all the posts.
If you are in a hurry and looking just for a particular topic, use the search bar. It appears on the right hand side if you ae on your laptop or at the bottom of the post if you are using a cellphone. Type in the ingredient name and you should be able to get a few options connected to this topic. if you still don’t find them, don just walk away, tell us in the comments below so we can add some and then invite you to try again.
