Avocado Chutney

avocado green chutney

Enjoy your Indian breakfast with a fresh desi flavoured, yet creamy avocado chutney and double this recipe up so you can have a dip for all your savory snackables this week.

The recipe idea began when I was having guests stay over with us and my blender decided to give up. For that day i had planned to make idly and chutney and carry the same for picnic with us. So, I was stuck. I dont have a mortar and pestle big enoughto do coconut chutney ( frankly, as dreading the effort too!) then dawned the idea that I can use avocadoes which are easily mashable and add in all that Indian flavour. This was the birth of the addictive and versatile avocado chutney idea.

Hope you get caught on to it too.

Such an easy and healthy chutney. Perfect to go with sandwiches. And yes they are so tender that a fork is enough to smash them down to a chutney. Thanks for the share!!

The avocado chutney looks fab. Avocados are sold for the price of gold here, so this dip / chutney is so precious 🙂
