Pear Orange Smoothie – Easy and Nutrient rich recipe


The Pear Orange Smoothie will definitely give you the much needed boost to kick start the day. The combination of a sweet fruit with a sour citrus one is often a good combination giving a natural balance to the flavors. The batch of oranges we picked up this week were beyond tart. There need to be something done to them. On the other hand the pear was super juicy…so there was a match. It was simple, flavorful and slurpy. Hot mornings are easy with a cold smoothie. With breakfast to happen faster smoothies are becoming the easiest way to get fruit in. as opposed to juicing the pulp is not strained out… hence it is all good.   • 2 number pears
  • 1 number orange
  • 1/4 cup crushed ice
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1 tsp chia seeds


  • Skin and core the pear and dice them.
  • Extract the juice of one orange.
  • Add these into the blender with the ice, flax seeds, chia seeds. Blend till smooth.
  • It gives you a thick scoop-able delicious smoothie.


you can freeze the excess as popsicles and serve as an after school snack.

Wow! Pear Orange Smoothie, smoothies are my favorite and I love to have the changing flavors as it gives me internal strength for my body. I liked your simple and awesome drink recipes and hope you will update with some more like this.
