These hot summer days I love a smoothie to ease up my day. Most of these days I sense that I hardly drink up enough water throughout the day leaving me tired more often than ever. So, here is something I started to do.
The smoothie for evening tea. This actually opened up a lot more possibilities. I do get fruit or two to have, portion sized and dairy-free and it makes me feel a lot better. You could try these for breakfast too. They are incredibly light yet refreshing

Here is a dairy-free smoothie option
Pear orange smoothie
One of the combinations that were actually just thrown together but worked brilliantly was with green grapes and cucumbers. You don’t see many grapes recipes on the blog for the simple fact that we hardly leave them alone. They are gone before you know we have them. Now, this is our current favourite.
Here is an important tip when you are having smoothies
Preferably drink up the grapes smoothie as soon as you make it, in that way it is fresh. If you are at work and need this for a break, invest in one of the portable USB charged small blenders. They are so good. Freeze your grapes, chop up the other ingredients and pack them up in the blender container with a freeze box for the hot days. If not, blend up the smoothie with frozen grapes and all the other ingredients, pour them into a thermos and carry it to work. Now that’s what I am currently doing.
