The combination of papaya and mango is my best bet when I miss the sun in the tropics. Both these elements scream for the beach or the seaside. Yes!! this is my go-to combo for my cloudy days.
With simple mango and papaya, things can’t get wrong. The refreshing tangy mango taste of the filling papaya yummy.
While doing a portion we usually do dunk in some bran flakes or toasted oats into the smoothie to make it even more filling.
The combination works well for the days when you seem to be just tired… The extra dose of antioxidants kick-starting the system. Start your day with a beautiful smoothie like this.

Mango papaya refresher
antioxidant rich recipe
- 1 cup mango cubed
- 1 cup papaya cubed
- 1 tsp flax seeds
- 1/4 cup ice crushed
- Wash, Peel and and extract the cubes of flesh from a juicy ripe mango
- Wash, peel and core a papya and remove 1 cup full of cubes
- Add the papaya,mango, flaxseeds and ice into the blender and blend smooth
- Strain only if you desire.
- Serve chilled.
The recipe works well as a Popsicle too
