What are naan dipper?
Is a naan base better than a focaccia base for pizza?
Ingredients for this ghost pizzas
Naan dippers: store bought naan dippers make the pizza base. These are tiny and bite sized so easy to assemble.
Pizza sauce: I have used a basic store bought pizza sauce. There is no brand specificity here, so just go with what you like.
Olives: pitted black olives cut into roundlets is what I have used. You can do green olives, gerkhin slices or capers too.
Cheese: that stretchy mozzarella, yumm! I have used grated mozzarella with a sprinkle of grated parmesan. You can absolutely do a four cheese mix with fontina and feta thrown into the mix.
Let’s make naan dipper pizzas
- Preheat the oven at 180 degree.
- Layer the naan dippers on a baking tray.
- Using a teaspoon spread a bit of the pasta sauce on each bite sized naan. Sprinkle the cheese. Place the olive slices such that they look like eyes. Keep them a bit closer on the wider side of naan so they don’t slip off.
- Bake the assembled naan and the recipe is ready.
